Abstract

The research problem is facilities and infrastructure for physical education learning in all MTs within Demak Regency. The purpose of the research is to discover the number of facilities and infrastructure for physical education learning in all MTs within Demak Regency and to find out their current condition. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using percentage and survey method. The subject population included 135 MTs within Demak Regency while the object population included facilities and infrastructure for physical education learning in each school. The sample involved 10 school based on Simple Random Sample. Data collection technique used questionnaire. The result of the research showed that facilities and infrastructure for physical education learning in all MTs within Demak, sports athletic discs 65% in good category, 70% bullet in good category, 72.5% javelin in good category, and 72% relay in good category. Sports football field is 90% in excellent category, 85% goalkeeper in very good category, and ball 46,5% in medium category. Sports field 100% field volleyball in excellent category, 100% net in excellent category, 76.6% balls in good category. Field basketball sports 80% in either category, 60% ring pole in medium category and 48.3% balls in medium category. Sports field badminton 100% in excellent category, shuttle kok 100% in excellent category, 100% net in very good category, 90% racket in very good category. Sports table tennis 100% in very good category, 100% ball in very good category, 100% net in very good category. Gymnastics 70% in good category and 0% jumpsuit in very few categories, martial arts 70% target in good category, 30% samsak in less category, 90% uniform in excellent category, body protector 75% in good category, 100% stopwatch equipment in excellent category, 100% whistle in excellent category, and 63% count in medium category. As a conclusion, the facilities and infrastructure for physical education learning in all MTs within Demak Regency are in accordance with the Regulation from National Education Minister of Republic Indonesia Number 24 of 2007 concerning SMP/MTs Facilities and Infrastructure Standard for playground or sports venues. In addition, they are also suitable based on Basic Competence (KD) and Competency Standard (SK).
