Abstract

The background of this research is the sepak takraw learning of class VII MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Bawang that have difficulty when playing sepak takraw. The problem of this final project is what factors cause the difficulty of learning sepak takraw inclass VII MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Bawang. The purpose of this study is to know what factors are causing the difficulties of sepak takraw learning and the precentage of those factors that give the seventh graders have difficulty in learning sepak takraw process in MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Bawang. This research is a descriptive research. The method of this research used survey method, with data collection technique using questionnaire and observation. The research subjects used in this study were the students of class VII MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Bawang Batang District, which amounted to 135 students, the sample was took by using the population sample. The data analysis used descriptive percentage. The results of this study indicate that the intrinsic factor is more dominant in causing the seventh grade students to have difficulty in learning sepak takraw that is equal to 77.07%, while the extrinsic factor is 66.78%. based on the two factors, the major factor causing the difficulty of learning sepak takraw class VII MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Bawang is, the psychic factor of 81.80%, theb physical 73.43%, 72.68% subject matter, parent role 72.5%, environment 68.42% and facilities 65.33% and teachers by 53.55%. The conclusion of this research is learning sepak takraw class VII MTs Hasyi Asy'ari Bawang have difficulty. For teachers of physical education, health and sports to be more excited to teach their students and motivate students to actively practice so that students can be serious in following sepak takraw learning.
