Abstract
The process of learning volleyball in SMP N 2 Mranggen especially passing down that is too monotonous so students feel bored, the lack of interaction between students so that students tend to be less active and less precisely the selection of learning models by teachers so that lesson presented less interesting. Problems in this research is the influence of cooperative learning model and inquiry toward the learning result of under down on students in SMPN 2 Mranggen? This study aims to determine which learning model that further improves the bottom under in volleyball in the process of learning volleyball in students of SMP Negeri 2 Mranggen. Approach in this research using quantitative approach that is experiment. Once known then the results will be compared to determine the improvement of under ability of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Mranggen from each model of learning. So it can be known which method is increased significantly lower passing ability. This study is a sample study because it does not examine the population as a whole. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The result of validation by expert of learning I in whole aspect is "good", with score average 8,38. The results showed that there was a difference between lower under learning using cooperative learning model and bottom under using inquiry. The average bottom under result using cooperative learning model is Pre-Test 13.9 and Post-Test 24.3 with improvement of learning outcomes 10.4. While the average bottom passing results using inquiry are Pre-Test 13.8 and Post-Test 20.5 with improved learning outcomes 6.7. The learning using cooperative learning model is better compared with lower under learning using inquiry model of under head grade VIII students at SMP N 2 Mranggen Year 2016/2017.
