Abstract

Student discus throw learning results are still not in the KKM (Criteria Completed Minimum). This study aims to describe the process of iproving the learning outcomes of long jump style squatting thourgh the jump rope (sumpringan) approach in students of class X Sciences one in SMA Negeri Semarang. This study is aclassroom action research. Subject in this study were students of class X sicen one in SMA Negeri 12 Semarang with a total of 36 students consisting of 15 male students and 21 female students. Data collection technique used is observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that improvement of discus throw using circuit activity model on the students of class X Sciences one in SMA Negeri 12 Semarang is marked by the increase of the average value of the students. The average value of students on pre action activities amounted to 66,3 with a percentage of mastery of 36.1% the condition has increased the average value of students in the first cycle that is equal to 70,1 and the percentage of completeness of 58.3%. However, the increase has not yet reached the target se previously. Then after continuing to cycle II the average value of long jump student returned again increase by 77,6 with a percentage mastery of 86.1%. It indicates that predetermined target has been reached so that the research is stopped in cycle II:. Student discuc throw ability increase with marked all students complete KKM (Criteria Completed Minimum) that is 75. The conclusion of research was the that use of circuit activity model learing achievement in physical education learing of the X Sciences one in SMA Negeri 12 Semarang the school year 2017.
