Abstract

The background of this research is the floor exercise back roll of 8 th grade student at MTs Manbaul Ulum Tlogorejo Karangawen Demak which less than the maximum. Purpose of this research is to know the effects between Commando learning style and Reciprocal learning style toward student’s backward roll outcome of 8 th grade student at Mts Manbaul Ulum Tlogorejo Karangawen Demak. Commando learning style is defanded learning method of teacher. Reciprocal learning style is a teaching method that students work together whit their friends and gives feedback to their friends, based on criteria found by teacher. Gymnastics floor is a free sport without using any tools but only mattress as a base. Backward roll is a rolling back through the back of the body from the back of the hip, back, waist and back of the nape. This research used quantitative research with the method of True Experiment Designs and Rendomized pretest-posttest control group design. The populations of this research were the students grade VIII collected using purposive sample to into two groups in this research. The data collection tool uses the assessment of students' back fordward roll results. This research hypothesis use T-test as analysis tehnique with significant level 5%. The result shows that there is positive effects toward Reciprocal learning style. It shows from pre-test result there is an increasing in the mount of 5,85 from average 11,96 increase into 17,80. Commando learning style there is an increasing in the mount of 7,50 from average 12,55 increase into 20,05. The result shows that Reciprocal learning is bigger than the value of Commando learning style to the learning result back forward roll with the value of 20,05> 17,80, difference of mean 2,25 so that Reciprocal learning is higher. The result use Reciprocal style influential to the exercise of a back forward roll gymnastic learning at seven grade of Mts Manbaul Ulum Tlogorejo Karangawen Demak in the academic year of 2017. The suggestion for the guidance teachers was the right learning style is very necessary in learning to achive a maximum learning exercies.
