Abstract
The aim of this paper is to understand why human trafficking, especially women trafficking is one of the transnational crimes in human history that continues to occur in many parts of the world, especially in Indonesia. Women trafficking is a threats of human being in the world and this issue is come up became concern for state to overcome the problem. This crime is defying human rights and turn the people into a poor worker, slave, commercial sex workers, etc. Indonesia is a country that have problems with this trafficking because in this country lie a thousand poor people who can be traded. From year to year the number of human trafficking cases, especially women continues to increase until 2015. Therefore, Indonesia needs to make serious efforts to overcome this problem through cooperation with various elements of state actors and non-state actors.
