Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The effect of accounting information system toward employees performance in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang (2) The effect of compensation toward employees performance in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang. (3) The effect of accounting information system and compensation toward employees performance in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang. The population in this study is employees in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang. The number of samples in this study is 38 respondents. Data in this study were obtained primary through questionnaires. Questionnaires were tested by validity test and reliability test before this study. Classic assumption test were used is normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing were used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) Accounting information system has positive and significant effect on employees performance in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang. This is evidenced by the t value of 2,395>1,690 dan significant value under 0,05. (2) Compensation has positive and significant effect on employees performance in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang. This is evidenced by the t value of 3,815>1,690 dan significant value under 0,05. (3) Accounting information system and compensation simultaneous has positive and significant on employees performance in PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari Shipping Semarang. This is evidenced by the F value of 15,441>3,27 dan significant value under 0,05. On the determination of the test there is influence of 43,8% of the independent variables (accounting information system and compensation) of the dependent variable (employees performance). Meanwhile, a total of 56,2% is affected by other variables and not included into this regression analysis.
