Abstract

This study aims to determine the things that a conflict disputes between Cambodia and Thailand about Preah Vihear, s mediation by both countries conducted by ASEAN This study includes the type of research data that uses secondary data covering material from books, websites, and other sources. Data collected by using analysis technique from this research is qualitative analysis technique. The concept or theory used in this research is Teritorial theory dispute. The results of this legal research show that Thai and Cambodian conflicts over Preah Vihear temple disputes are due to the fact that Thailand does not enforce the International Court of Justice's decision in the 1962 Case Concerning the Temple of Preah Vihear also because of the domestic political upheaval being experienced by Cambodia and Thailand. in order to resolve disputes by Cambodia and Thailand through negotiations (negotiations). In addition to the negotiations, Cambodia also requested the UN and ASEAN councils to assist in the settlement of disputes between Cambodia and Thailand conducted by ASEAN through dialogue with the two countries.
