Abstract

Grobogan Regency is a Regency whose pillar of its economy is in the agricultural sector. Characteristic of the area is dry and barren land. Plants that are productive enough to be developing are food crops commodities. Food crops commodities contribute most to the agricultural sector. This research aims to analyze the role and position of food crops commodities in each District in Grobogan Regency. The data used are primary and secondary data. The analysis tools used are Location Quotient and Dynamic Location Quotient. The result showed that paddy rice field commodities play a role in 9 district. Upland rice plays a role in 9 district. Corn plays a role in 7 district. Cassava plays a role in 5 district. Sweet potato plays a role in 2 district. Peanuts plays a role in 6 district. Soybeans plays a role in 6 district. Mung Beans plays a role in 7 district. In the future, paddy rice field commodities play a role in Penawangan, Geyer, Pulokulon, Kradenan, Wirosari, Purwodadi Districs. In the future, upland rice commodities play a role in Penawangan, Geyer, Gabus, Ngaringan, Tawangharjo Grobogan, Klambu, Tanggungharjo District. In the future, corn commodities play a role in Kedungjati, Karangrayung, Toroh, Gabus, Wirosari, Tawangharjo, Purwodadi, Klambu District. In the future, cassava commodities play a role in Penawangan, Toroh, Gabus, Ngaringan, Grobogan, Purwodadi, Tegowanu District. In the future sweet potato will play a role in Penawangan, Toroh, Wirosari, Purwodadi, Brati, Klambu, Gubug. In the future, peanut commodities play a role in Karangrayung, Penawangan, Toroh, Geyer, Ngaringan, Wirosari, Tawangharjo, Grobogan, Purwodadi, Brati, Klambu, Godong, Gubug, Tegowanu District. In the future, soybean commodities play a role in Penawangan, Toroh, Kradenan, Gabus, Wirosari, Grobogan, Purwodadi, Klambu, Godong District. In the future mung beans commodities play a role in Toroh, Pulokulon, Grobogan, Purwodadi, Brati, Klambu, Godong, Gubug, Tanggungharjo District.
